Each rug is a true labor of love, crafted entirely by hand by skilled nomadic women in remote Afghan villages. These rugs are made using traditional techniques passed down through generations, preserving a rich cultural heritage in every thread.
From start to finish, it takes 3 to 5 months to complete a single rug. Throughout this time, 3 to 10 artisans collaborate on each piece—working meticulously on every detail, from the intricate color patterns to the delicate sewing and knotting. The result is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece that reflects the soul of its makers.
This rug is a masterpiece of Afghan craftsmanship, handwoven using only a needle—without any machines. Each knot is tied with patience and skill, taking months to complete. Our family has been in the rug-making tradition for generations, with my father and grandfather weaving these exquisite pieces in the northern regions of Afghanistan.
